hey - we’re back in chengdu and alive
i have a bad headcold (ears are stuffed and very painful on the descent into chengdu on the plane) and my nose is runny/blocked and my ehad feels dizzy and stupid
but other than that things are great 
were staying at a 5 star hotel here in chengdu for our last night (it cost about $180) before we head back to the parents late tomorrow morning/early afternoon and then go to the airport. ill try to quickly email something on the free internet terminals from singapore to let u know im safe but i dont like my chances because ive only got 45 minutes to transfer (and dont worry they will hold the flight for me becausethe airlines are linked)

im off to enjoy my last hotpot (were gonna ask the driver to take us to the best one in town) and then relax with haixiao for the last time till next year
